Introduction to Linoblock Printmaking (16+)

Experience: No prior drawing or printmaking experience necessary 

In this introductory high energy printmaking class students will be lead through the steps necessary to create a block print including safe carving practice and printing using soy based ink that is made in NC. Participants will leave with an edition or small collection of prints that they will be proud of. We will also spend a bit of time printing our blocks in non-traditional ways! We will have a blast.

Denise is a life long printmaker and arts educator who loves inspiring folks to use their creative energy. Her work is shown locally in galleries and is in collections worldwide.  Denise is a passionate gardener and knitter.
