Experience: No prior book-binding experience necessary | Ages 12–15 with a grown-up (each with a paid ticket), or ages 16+ independently
About the Class:
Turn plain grocery bags into fun journals and sketchbooks! Starting with the classic 3-hole pamphlet stitch and a simple journal format, students will explore different ways to fold and "augment" a concertina book, leaving with their very own bag-turned-book.
About the instructor:
Karine is a graduate of the MCBA Book Arts Certificate program and a lifelong lover of everything paper. Karine believes almost anything can be turned into a book! A native of Lyon, France, she has been calling Asheville her home for 6 years.
