Watercolor Class — Mindful Painting

Skill level: No experience necessary. All good-quality supplies are provided — simply show up.

Slow down and pick up a paintbrush. This beginner-friendly class blends mindful, calming exercises with the fundamentals of watercolor — working through washes, color mixing, and a gentle, unhurried pace. By the end, you'll sketch and paint your own bird on a branch to take home.

Lina Oliveros is an Asheville-based fine artist and photographer who has run her own studio practice since 2018, teaching art classes centered on mindfulness and stress relief. With over a decade of program and team leadership experience, she brings both structure and heart to every class she leads.
