You’ve learned how to thread your sewing machine and sew a straight line. You’ve been making beautiful quilts and mending your clothes. Now, you want to make some garments from scratch. What do you need to know? Garment Sewing Basics will cover how to take self-measurements, how to sew a hem, how to use tools like a buttonhole foot, and more.

In this introductory high energy printmaking class students will be lead through the steps necessary to create a block print including safe carving practice and printing using soy based ink that is made in NC.

Slow down and get into the holiday spirit in this cozy, mindful painting workshop. You’ll paint two ornaments on natural wood slices with acrylic paint: a sweet snowman and a peaceful snowy night scene. Then, personalize the backs with a name, date, or a sweet note. Participants will be guided step by step, blending simple mindfulness practices with real painting techniques. All supplies are included, and you’ll leave with two handmade keepsakes to hang on your tree or give as gifts.

Express yourself while keeping yourself and your community safer. Mask chains and charms are a fun way to dress up your mask! No experience necessary, all materials provided. You will go home with at least one mask chain you've created.
